United goalkeeper Martin Rice has this evening completed his loan move to Truro City. The loan is for the season and there is a 24 hour recall clause. Martin will not play for Truro in the FA Cup or Trophy. Boss Paul Buckle views the move as a very positive one-'This loan is great for us as it means that Martin will get regular football and he needs that. Goalkeeping is a specialist position and this is a good situation as Martin will train with us as normal and get games with Truro. If we need to call on him for a number of games then he will be fit and able, we will have to improvise if anything, God forbid, did happen during a game but we will deal with that. It is better that Martin is getting regular football rather than sitting on the bench so if he needs to play for us he is ready.'

Martin gave us his thoughts-'I'm buzzing about the loan move. It will be great for me to get regular football. I can get a run of games under my belt and when needed I can come back sharp and ready. I will train with the United squad and also twice a week with Truro. It is a good set up at Truro and I can't wait to get on with the season.'
