DANNY STEVENS
Danny joined Spurs at the age of 12 and progressed through their youth system until being released at the age of 19, when he joined Luton Town. Despite many encouraging displays for Luton's reserve team, Danny found his first team opportunities limited to just 1 substitute appearance for The Hatters, and he was released by the Bedfordshire club in May 2007.
After a successful trial at Plainmoor, Danny was offered a one-year contract and quickly established himself as a fans favourite, thanks to his pace and trickery on the flanks. Danny also scored his first ever goal in senior football during United's 3 - 0 win at Aldershot in the first week of the 2007/08 season and two more against Yeovil in a famous F.A. Cup win. He signed a new contract last season and after making an amazingly quick recovery from a knee injury played a part in United's F.A. Trophy final defeat against Ebbsfleet. The Plainmoor faithful will be looking forward to seeing a fully fit Danny back in action for the new season.
