LEE MANSELL
Former manager Ian Atkins brought Lee to Plainmoor in the summer of 2006, and the energetic midfielder has been one of United's most consistent performers during the last two seasons.
Highly rated from a young age, Lee made his Football League debut for Luton Town at the age of just 18, and scored 5 goals from 17 starts in his first season and eventually made the move to Oxford United where he was a near ever-present in Oxford's relegation season of 2005/06.
A genuine "box to box" player, Lee is never short of commitment and energy and is able to make valuable contributions at both ends of the pitch and last season he showed how versatile he is by making the right back position his own. Lee has decided to stay at Plainmoor and signed a new contract in the summer, a decision which went down very well with the Plainmoor faithful who can look forward to another season of wholehearted performances.
