Due to the huge success of our previous Sportsman's Dinner we are delighted to announce another date for your diaries, but this will be no ordinary Sportsman's Dinner as we shall also be unveiling the NEW away strip for the 2008/09 season at this event.
Enjoy a luxurious three course meal (menu detailed below) with entertainment in the form of former Wolves, Burnley and Huddersfield footballer Steve Kindon as guest speaker followed by the humour of comedian Jed Stone.
'A player from the past, Kindo is very much a 'character' from football. 'Kindo' scored more than 160 first-class goals during an illustrious career with Wolves, Burnley and Huddersfield Town in the 70's and 80's. He also won caps for England in the Youth team, the Under 23's and England 'B'. For seven years running he gained the title of the 'fastest footballer in Britain' at the annual competition at the Meadowbank Stadium. Nowadays 'Kindo' - as he is affectionately known - prefers to take a more leisurely pace, though travelling the length and breadth of the country at sporting and corporate dinners throughout the land where his humorous reminiscences always leave the audience wanting more.'

Tables are now being sold for this event at a cost of £495 + VAT per table of 10 guests. That's just £49.50 + VAT per person for a top class evening of entertainment and fine cuisine. Spaces are limited for this exciting event giving Torquay United supporters the opportunity to wine and dine with the TUFC board members, management and staff in relaxed and informal surroundings with first class entertainment.
